61 Beans Coffee-of-the-Month: April
We're kicking off spring with Los Cuernos del Diablo, a Dark Medium roast from ASPROCAFE Ingruma co-op in Caldas, Colombia. The Equal Exchange Café was lucky to host two cuppers from ASPROCAFE in January, when they participated in a Cooperation in Quality seminar at Equal Exchange.
Los Cuernos del Diablo has a floral aroma, with cocoa, winey, lemon flavor and soft moutfeel. The aftertaste is sweet with dark chocolate. Try it out during the month of April!

Spring is Here and so is the Free Range Café!
Equal Exchange is hitting the streets on three wheels! Watch for the Free Range Café tricycle
riding around downtown Boston, stopping at designated locations to serve up Equal Exchange coffee.
Over the winter months, the trike was parked at the MGH T-stop to serve coffee to commuters Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eliza Gordan is the trike operator and she says that the Free Range Café has been positively received by customers who are excited to see a local business expanding and growing. She loves working with Equal Exchange and connecting with interested customers who share similar passions for fairly traded and locally roasted coffee. Follow the trike on Twitter and Facebook to learn more about this exciting new adventure! |
