Jane Ehlke "Two Goods" – Good Products and Good Deeds
Jane Ehlke, of Lexington MA, started Two Goods and Company LLC in March of 2009. Since then, she has provided our café with delicious vegan, organic, and Fair Trade products. If you haven't tried one of her sesame sables, maple granola cookies, or espresso chocolate chip cookies, come in for a treat today!

Jane makes all of the cookies by hand, from scratch out of her licensed residential kitchen. Many of her recipes are old family favorites or ones passed on to her from friends. She uses organic, Fair Trade ingredients as well as sustainable baking and packaging supplies.

Jane currently donates 10 percent of all the proceeds from her cookies to two organizations that she has personally been involved with. Her donations are both local and international, going to Communities Without Borders in Zambia, and Bristol Lodge meals program in Waltham, Mass. You can’t go wrong with putting your money toward her cookies. The product is quality, and like our shop, the mission is so much more than an exchange of goods!
We turned two We are This Many!
It's hard to believe the café has been around for two years already. Hopefully you got to stop by our birthday party on Friday, Dec. 17. We had lots of festivities going on, lots of decorations, and even some of our own staff in costume. Many of our local vendors were out with tastes of their delicious food items. Our friends from Equal Exchange demonstrated a "clever" pour over approach to brewing coffee and gave out samples of Fair Trade bananas dipped in delicious dark chocolate. Thanks for your continued support -- we couldn't have done it without you!

61 Beans Coffee of the Month 61 Beans Coffee-of-the-Month: January/February
To kick off 2011, we've brought back Las Nubes, a Dark Medium Roast from Tupac Amaru co-operative in Puno, Peru. This coffee's aroma has raisin, molasses, chocolate, and is floral and smoky. The flavor is winey and sweet, with dark chocolate, watermelon, juicy peach and green tea. The mouthfeel is syrupy and round, with pointed and refined acidity. The aftertaste? We found it to be bittersweet and refreshing.
